API Reference
ChartYProjection
A detached primary Y projection captured from supported vertical Cartesian preparation.
Inheritance
- Object
- ChartYProjection
Remarks
Increasing values run upward unless the authored Y axis is reversed. Source transforms and confinement share the X projection owner. This snapshot retains no mutable chart, axis, or formatter callback.

Methods
public ChartYViewport? ConstrainViewport(Double firstLogicalY, Double secondLogicalY) #ChartYViewport?Confines a logical gesture while preserving its transformed span.
Parameters
- firstLogicalY System.Double
- The first logical position.
- secondLogicalY System.Double
- The second logical position.
Returns
The confined increasing source window, or null when it covers the full domain.
public ChartYViewport? ConstrainViewport(ChartYViewport requested) #ChartYViewport?Confines a source window, preserving exact in-domain bounds.
Parameters
- requested ChartForgeX.Core.ChartYViewport
- The requested source window.
Returns
The confined window, or null for the exact full domain.
public Double Project(Double sourceY) #DoubleProjects a finite source value, extrapolating outside the current window.
Parameters
- sourceY System.Double
- The source value; logarithmic values must be positive.
Returns
The logical Y coordinate.
public Double Unproject(Double logicalY) #DoubleInverts a finite logical coordinate through the captured source scale.
Parameters
- logicalY System.Double
- The logical Y coordinate, including positions outside the plot.
Returns
The source value.
